About Me
I have been involved in web development in some way, shape or form since the age of ten; starting in the early times of 1998. After having my first brief stint with PHP in 2002, I became truly interested in programming at the age of 14. At this point I took it upon myself to start learning the language properly, and since that point have become proficient in it.
In my time as a PHP developer I have created file hosting websites, content management systems, data scraping tools (using regular expressions to collect data from other websites), news management systems and mailing list delivery systems.
More recently I have been taking on large projects involving collaboration with other developers and I am confident in my ability to work closely with other developers in such projects.

I was sub-contracted by The Blok Group to do the development work on this project. I created a user membership system with blogs and private messaging. I also created a script to import users from the old Joomla!-based system to the new website.

Daily Delicious Cake
In this project I created an image-blogging website; in which user's could reply by editing the day's assigned picture (uploaded by the administrator). I did this using the relatively unknown ShiPainter applet alongside a custom-coded PHP parsing script to receive the POST'ed data.

Locker Combo
In this project I created an interactive web application to allow schools or other large organisations to store locker combinations. These organisations can then share these combinations with the appropriate students and/or employees via. email and a unique login combination provided on the website.

I developed this script with my two partners, Paul & Tony, to fill a niche in the pre-made PHP script market. This script contains unique features, and functions fully as a standalone system with no management needed -- all quizzes are fully interactive. You can now buy this script online!
